This is a fine chrysoberyl with phenakite crystals from its type locality - Russia.This is a fine chrysoberyl with phenakite crystals from its type locality - Russia. The crystal has good green color and crystals measure up to 8 mm in diameter. What is so unusual about it is that there are 2 little clear Phenakite crystals sitting on the matrix to 9 mm long in great condition. No damage. This is an old piece of rare quality for the material.
