Sharp, lustrous, brown staurolite crystals are aesthetically set in a cabinet-sized matrix.Sharp, lustrous, brown staurolite crystals are aesthetically set in a cabinet-sized matrix. Smaller staurolites are scattered on both the front and back of the matrix.
Staurolite is known from the much less common Petaca District of New Mexico or Petrov in Czech republic, but is rarely seen and is very rarely available.
